Flood and Emergency Rescue
Ferry & People Movers
Fun & Recreation
Hovercrafts are the perfect vehicle for flood rescue, SES and emergency services as they can go between flooded and non flooded surfaces alleviating the need to interchange between emergency vehicles, boats and cars. As there is no outboard motor and propeller, a hovercraft can skim over 1 inch of water, to fully flooded zones with no concern for what lurks beneath the water.
Making them the clear option for delivering food,
medical aid, and supplies after natural disasters hit like hurricanes or tsunamis.
Hovercrafts are an excellent option as passenger ferries, opposed to a traditional ferry to cross bodies of water where people commute to and from work. The hovercraft can travel twice as fast, and can be designed to seat 2000+ passengers. The larger the hovercraft, the larger the cushion making for a smoother, faster and more efficient way to travel to work while having a lower impact on the environment. As they don’t require deep water, this removes the need for jetties, opening up more landing place opportunities. And having no propeller means less strikes and disturbance to marine life.
Hovercrafts can also be used for FUN! From fishing in areas inaccessible by boats, adventure rides, exploring marshlands or mudflats, sightseeing trips to private leisure crafts! We use our Mariah 425 Craft for our Hovercraft Fun Ride Events that we hold regularly at the Caribbean Gardens lake, where people of all ages can experience the exhilarating rush of riding over land and water on a cushion of air!
www.trybooking.com/eventlist/mariahhovercraftfunrides gets you to where you can buy a ticket for our upcoming funride day. We can also host corporate team bonding days, come to your next fundraising event as a unique attraction and we can even organise driver training days.
Farm Work
Holiday Destination Attraction
Due to the versatile abilities of the hovercraft, they make a great vehicle for use on farms, especially in flood prone zones and areas that have mixed terrain like swamps, marshes or mudflats. Our Hovercrafts can be made specifically for your needs including adding platforms, removing seats to create more room to move animals, debris or carry tools and equipment. Their light ground
touch means less damage to land especially when
muddy. Hovercrafts are used all over the world for jobs like spraying rice crops instead of using light planes. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Looking to ditch the 9 to 5 for an exciting business opportunity? Hovercrafts can create so many fun and exciting businesses. Buy yourself a craft, pick
your favourite tropical destination in the world where you can spend everyday in the sun and sand whilst providing tourists with a unique thrilling activity. You could run exhilarating Hovercraft rides, or provide tours to a tropical island for the day. Either way, your imagination is your only
limitation if you purchase a Hovercraft to create your own business!

Scientific & Environmental
Hovercrafts can reach remote areas of the world that no other vessels or vehicles can access, making hovercrafts a necessity to get supplies to small villages or disaster-hit zones that are otherwise inaccessible.
They can be used in places like the Antarctic with their low foot print pressure, low fuel consumption and fast speeds, they can glide over thin ice and are gentler on the environment.
As we manufacture our Hovercrafts in our facility in Seaford, Victoria, we can customise your
Hovercraft to suit your needs.
For example:
*Fishing decks and bimini covers can be added.
*Platforms or stretcher racks can be included to
assist with rescue.
*Saddle tanks for organic crop spraying etc.
- Research in wetlands – studying ecosystems
without damaging them (hovercrafts don’t churn
up sediment as much as propeller-driven boats). - Polar exploration – crossing ice, snow, and water seamlessly.
- Wildlife monitoring – moving through sensitive
habitats with lower environmental impact.
